so far, winter term is going very well. things are progressing along and all of a sudden it’s week four. when i think to compare my experience now to that of last term, the differences i see in myself and my surroundings are a little mind-boggling. aside from the teaching part of it, which i am quite comfortable with after several years of working in various incarnations of school, the “professional game” part of it is starting to come together. i am even beginning to impress my current cooperating teachers. also i finally figured out what i should put in my portfolio, and virginia gave me some excellent interview coaching. i finally feel confident enough to begin putting out applications to various school districts in town. now i just have to wait for the right time.

hmmm…seasons of change.
