i decided i was sick of the onions, at least for now. comments on my maple leafery? is it good or bad?
still waiting to see if birthday surprise plans are going to work out for today. waiting on the weather. so far we’ve had two false alarms with the whole plan and now it’s back to waiting.
marathon recovery is going well. still quite tired but improving.
school is done for two weeks, yay. then it’s back for 5 terms of endless studying. these next two weeks are all that exists of my summer vacation. and with the exception of one meeting next week i will be doing yard work both here and at my parents house in ca the whole time. you’ve got to love a little manual labor…it’s good for the soul and also a good reason to drink beer before 3 in the afternoon. as for school, i am changing, well more like shifting, my program. instead of getting my certificate in primary (k-2) and upper elementary (3-5) i am dropping the primary and adding middle school math. everyone is a kindergarten teacher, but the world is desperate for for math teachers, especially female ones. something about not enough representation in tech/math/science something. all i know is that it means i will get a job no problem. so yay. if i have time i may even add a science endorsement while i’m at it.
