oh glorious glorious new bed. oh bounty of slumber, bringer of all things zzzzz. fountain of sleepiness hear my cry. after many years of sharing a bed that is just too small, dylan and i finally have a quality matress. let me just say; best wedding gift ever. cheers to scobel and lloyd.
i went to california last weekend for my bridal shower; so much fun. i don’t think i have ever been so overwhelmed ever. all the people i love in one room, and not enough time to catch up with them all. of special notice is my friend amanda. we spent every single family holiday together, every spring break and went to elementary school together. she was my best friend for most of my life and sometime during high school we lost touch. i haven’t seen her for almost 6 years and she came to my wedding shower. talk about life long friendship.
there were a few people not in attendance who i wish could have been, but for reasons beyond their control couldn’t be. rv, we all missed you
at work i got some semi good news today. the question of whether or not i have a permanent job has been further delayed. my contract has been extended through the month of september. so that is an additional month of work for which i will be gone a week and a half for the wedding. after that they are going to look and see what else they have for me. so really i am in the same position as before, but the last day deadline has been pushed back. i may not have a job come october, but at least i don’t have to worry about that until after the wedding.
speaking of, we are officially under the one month mark.
