there are rumblings at work about the details of my future. i heard today that the guy that i am replacing in the classroom might be moved more into development when he comes back and i will take his place in the classroom. then when i have enough hours to get my certification and be a licensed SLPA they will move me upstairs where i will be in charge of small group therapy, covering in the classroom when lynne and dean are sick and also covering for other clinicians when they are out. oh how that is a wonderful possibility. but no congratulations yet as this is only a rumor and i am not supposed to know yet. but the encouraging factor of this is that i can say for sure that this is what they want me for. it is just a matter of details for working it out. this comes as a giant relief immediately after the freakout i had at anna’s wedding about work and wedding plans eating me alive. now i don’t feel like i have to be concerned about work AND the wedding.
now time for bed. in the new bed. oh yes.
