that’s right, i have a job! and not just any job, but the best job ever. i got a job as a speech language pathology assistant at the eugene hearing and speech center. so for someone who is planning to apply to grad school to become an actual speech language pathologist it is the greatest opportunity there ever was.
i am covering for one of the other assistants whose wife is really ill and will be gone indefinitely. when he comes back they will develop a more permanent position for me that will include doing just about every service EHSC has to offer; i will be the clinic’s official floater splitting my time between the preschool-aged language classrooms, the deaf-ed classroom and the audiology lab. but for now i am in two classrooms a day and i get to work with the little kiddos and earn clinic hours toward my liscense. after 100 hours then i will be liscensed and they will have to pay me the big bucks. so yeah, hooray for jobs.
in feline news, kitties are getting along splendidly. they have decided that they are going to be friends.
that’s all for now.

nice work! you guys are really becoming a part of eugene professional society. Which, I guess, is the non-student working continget - so, Christine.

Congratulations!! This is the best news I have heard all day. I must admit, though, I am a little disappointed that we never got to enjoy a day being luxuriously lazy together before you went back to work.
Kudos to you!
