ok. today was the last day of work! wahoo! i thought i would have to stay until noon, but no. instead, one of my students put blood in my hair and then i got to go home. so happy that’s over. i also found out that my boss tried to screw me out of my 301k money. that is the money that you get if you have a good evaluation, which i did. so as long as the paper work gets turned in, and your evaluation is positive you get the money. so today when everyone else got their 301k money and i didn’t, i started asking around. anyhow, we just bypassed my boss and went straight to the principal of the whole school. she said that my boss sucked, and that she would make sure i got the money. how much? well, teachers get about $1000 and aids who were there all year got about $950. so i am not sure if it is just a flat amount, or if it is based on how long you have been with the agency but either way it will be a hefty sum. yay!
due to the leaving work early, i was finally able to go to dylan’s work and see his fancy office and such. and they made me fly the a-10 simulator which i flew and landed without any trouble except that we nearly revisited my lunch a couple times. no run-ins with the republicolleagues, thank goodness. i don’t have the energy for defending my right to not serve dylan whilst standing barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. ahhh…time to contemplate working out and possibly the beginnings of packing.
